South Central AHU just completed its annual Continuing Education Day held in August of each year. This year there for over forty attendees. Over the course of the day there were five hours of continuing education presented with topics of Disability, Medicare, and Pre-Need Life. Breakfast and lunch were included with the registration fee of $35 for non-NAHU members and $15 for NAHU members. Presenters were Zach Wilding, OneAmerica, and Sylvia Gordon and Dawn Boyer both from Gordon Marketing.
"School's Out For Summer" Campaign Comes To An End
Our Public Service committee came up with a plan for our non-perishable food items we collect at our regular monthly meetings.
June: Gone Fishin (tuna, relish, mayo, salad dressing) July: Fruity Fab Five (peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, apple sauce, and fruit cocktail) August: PB&J (peanut butter and jelly)
Thanks to everyone who contributed! We were able to donate over 175 jars and cans of these items to the Scott County Clearing House.
